Mirror mirror on the wall... who is the fairest of them all?

Have you ever looked in the mirror and really examined what you look like? Have you ever looked at your eyes up close for a period longer than 5 minutes to then realize that they don’t look like your eyes anymore? Have you taken a look at your hands and the way the lines in your palm are formed? Did you ever notice that you have a dip below your nose and above your lips? Did you know that you were formed from the outside in?

Those are a lot of questions to answer. Some I am sure you have never thought about. I have! I have spent a good 10 minutes just looking at my face: my eyelashes, eyeballs, nose, lips, mouth, teeth…

Have you?

You should because when you look and pay attention to all the detail that it took to make you the way that you are, you would see a glimpse of what God looks like. Genesis 1:27 (NIV) says “So GOD created mankind in his own image, in the image of GOD he created them, male and female he created them.”

Take a moment to take a look at the creation God made in HIS own image.

Then take a look at your heart and ask yourself do I reflect GOD’s image in my life? You know what the answer should be…

"…I died to the Law, that I might live unto God. I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and delivered Himself up for me." (Galatians 2:19-20).

Reflect HIS image and let HIM be your guide in all that you do. Remember that when God looks at you he sees the beauty of his son JESUS CHRIST.

Before I was conceived HE knew me...

Before I even formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew all about you. Before you drew your first breath, I had already chosen you to be My prophet to speak My word to the nations.  ---Jeremiah 1:5 (The Voice)

WOW!! The Lord of Lords knew me before I was conceived. Before I took my first breath he had already written my destiny. To be HIS prophet, to spread HIS word. WOW!!

As we prepare our hearts for Easter and the GREATEST NEWS OF ALL TIME it is good to pause and look back. They say hindsight is 20/20 – never did I understand that more than I understand it today. Of course where you are going is unnerving and blurry, because you have never been there. Where you have been is clear as day, because it’s where you came from.

Have you taken a step back to reflect where you came from and imagine where you are going? Or are you too busy planning for the future to learn from the past?

It is true there is no point in dwelling on the past because you cannot change it but when you lay the pieces of your life before you, you can see the beautiful path that GOD laid down for you BEFORE YOU WERE EVEN CONCEIVED.

Take a look back in time when Jesus prayed the night that he was betrayed. The disciples worried and were burdened by the news of the plan that GOD laid down for Jesus. They were willing to fight with the men who came to take Jesus away. They were ready to change those plans that GOD had made. Can you imagine what would be of US had they intervened? Can you imagine what would be of US had Jesus not died for our sins? Where would we be? How would our relationship with GOD be? Would we still need the “Holy of Holies” to speak to GOD?

The things that happened to Jesus happened because that was HIS destiny – HIS STORY. Because God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son (JESUS), that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life.

A beautiful blessing came out of a trying time. The gift of Grace, Salvation and Everlasting Life came from that. No one knows the plans laid before them, other than GOD. No one knows what the future holds, other than GOD. But I can tell you that looking back I can see that the plans for me are beautiful. That he is preparing my heart, my family and my friends for the WORK OF GOD. He is preparing my life as a PROPHET and he is preparing me to speak to the NATIONS.

Take a look back at your life and give thanks for what was, what is and what will forever be: GOD and JESUS CHRIST. Thank HIM for speaking your name, thank HIM for knowing you before you were conceived, thank HIM for the plans he has written for you, thank HIM for the great work HE will do through you and in ALL THINGS THANK HIM. Remember JESUS died for YOUR SINS because HE WANTED TO not because HE HAD TO. Be thankful for that. This Easter season give thanks, praise and worship THE ONE that gave you LIFE and a chance to live FOREVER in HEAVEN.

Remember: You are who GOD says you are: HIS prophet to speak HIS WORD to THE NATIONS.

Use your story to spread the message of hope this Easter season and remember Be thankful for what you are going through and in the midst of trouble give thanks.

In Jesus name we pray

In Jesus name we pray.

We pray because we can’t do it alone.

We pray because it’s easier to speak to the source than to the world.

MY GOD!!!! MY GOD!!!

Those lyrics reign truer today after receiving the CALL OF A LIFETIME. Dr. KAOUK from CLEVELAND CLINIC said he would OPERATE on my KIDNEY to REMOVE the CANCER. What SWEET NEWS!!! What a PRAYER ANSWERED!!! So many people have prayed and continue praying for me, my health, my operation, my family and my sanity. To those people I say THANK YOU!!! From the BOTTOM of MY HEART and GOD will BLESS you for your FAITH in him!!!

GOD BREATHED LIFE INTO ME WHEN HE SAID MY NAME, he brought me into this world, SAVED ME and MY HOUSE and gave me NEW LIFE IN JESUS through BAPTISM, and now he’s ELIMINATED CANCER and given me LIFE, AGAIN!!!! So today I TAKE HEART, and KNOW that MY FAITH will make me WELL in JESUS’ NAME!!!

Prayer Works

For the past few months lots and lots of people have been praying for me and my family. You see as the days get closer to my first surgery the nerves start to creep in. Not because I don't faith because that I AM SURE i have, but because my skin is anxious for it to be over. The greatest thing that this has shown me is that God is here with me through it all - he has given me life three times. He gave me life when he spoke my name and gave me renewed life when he called me to baptism and now he has cured me of disease. Prayer works I prayed for his presence and mercy and has presented with this unexpected predicament throu the most Godly way that he answered my prayer. I have always prayed to be strong like Ruth and deep down I've always wanted to be like her to save a nation and you know what - God granted my prayer. Through this trial that he has placed in my life I have learned to hold HIS hand real tight and to proclaim HIS victory over me. I have lost the fear of speaking of HIM to anyone, I have shared My Story with complete strangers and given HIM all the glory. Those that know me have seen the strength that only God can give in me and they have commented that I am a great example of HIS work and that this will become a great testament for me and HIM. Like Esther I am saving a nation in God's own way, I'm a testament to my family, friends, doctors, acquaintances and to anyone that will listen. I will led HIS people to freedom and into HIS arms. I proclaim that in Jesus Name many will be saved by my story and the great impact I will make in this world. So when you feel like another prayer won't help or won't do anything. Get on your knees and pray because the answer will come on HIS timing not yours and when it DOES come it will be a greater blessing that anything you ever imagined. I love my God and always will.
